Me2 and Nursery Remote Learning Activities

World Book Day

This week is World Book Day, a time to celebrate and appreciate authors, illustrators, books, stories and so much more.  Please take some time to read the poster below to find out what we will be doing here at Mount Street and how your child can get involved.

Week Beginning 01.03.21

Good Morning, I would like to start by saying thank you for all of your support over the last eight weeks of remote learning.  I am so proud of each and every one of the children for achieving so much under such strange and difficult circumstances.  Your continued support, as parents, has been amazing and I am extremely thankful.  It has been lovely to catch up with parents and children on the gate, in nursery, over the phone and those who have just popped into school.

This final weeks topic is 'Traditional Tales', I hope you all enjoy the stories and the activities, don't forget to upload your remote learning to your Tapestry Journals and remember that you can come in and collect a paper pack from the school office.

In the meantime keep safe and I will see you all back to nursery from 8th March.

TAPESTRY

All children in our Me2, Nursery and Reception class have a Tapestry Learning Journal.  Tapestry is a secure online Learning Journal to record photos, observations and comments, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, to build up a record of your child's experiences during their time with us.  Many of you have already downloaded the app and are accessing these observations, some of you have been using it as a great opportunity to share your child's home learning with us.  If you have not already signed up to Tapestry we would love for you to do this now.  I have attached a letter with further details and information and simple instructions.  Please keep an eye out for an email inviting you to join.  We hope to see you all on Tapestry soon.  Many thanks
