ART
This is the message that I have received from Plymouth Pavillions and I thought that, as we have been practising our Kandinsky art, we could produce pictures for the Pavillions to brighten up their vaccination centre as well as promoting our school:
Good morning,
I hope that this email finds you safe and well.
I’m emailing from Plymouth Pavilions and we need your help! The Pavilions has been hosting Plymouth’s first vaccination centre since December 2020 and we’re on a mission to spread some messages of thanks and positivity to both the amazing NHS teams who have now vaccinated nearly 25,000 people and also those arriving at our building for their Covid-19 vaccine, some of which are amongst our city’s most vulnerable people, having spent the majority of the last twelve months locked down and shielding.
We’d like to transform the poster cases around the outside and inside of our building with messages and beautiful artwork from pupils across Plymouth. The cases are fairly exposed to the elements so we will be rotating the artwork every couple of weeks and I’m afraid we won’t be able to return anything, although I will endeavor to document and share with all involved and on social media
The aim is to dedicate our large individual external poster cases to as many of our local Primary schools as we can fill and then roll out the invitation to everyone and see if we can transform our queuing zone into a beautiful gallery of inspirational messages.
Many thanks
Bryony
Please bring your artwork in to school with you on Monday. Thank you.
