Week Commencing 13 Jul
So, here we are, our last week at Mount Street Primary School. I have said farewell to the Year 5’s (for now) and am back in Year 6 for the final week of term. I would so like to see you all in on Thursday and Friday for a socially distanced couple of days on the field.
I really want to video you all singing ‘This is Me’ in the ‘amphitheatre’ which we can do as we would all be facing forwards and we could socially distance with a metre spacing. Also, I would like to take a picture of each of you next to your handprint on the Leaver’s Wall and I would ask Reception to email it home. Also, many of you have sent in shirts which are now quarantined, and we will be able to sign these on Thursday so that they will be ready for collection from Reception on Monday 20th. Finally, I have arranged with Kerry (School Cook) for a Leaver’s Lunch on Friday 17th and this will be paid for by FOMS (thank you.) It will be an All Day Breakfast (popular choice) followed by Brownies. I have also bought snacks and fruit (which are currently in quarantine) for the afternoon so that we can have a little picnic on the field.
I will attach a size chart for measurements for the hoodies but, if your child is in school, I will get them measured on Monday. If your child is not in school, could you measure them or, come to school and I can measure them for you.
Write a reflection on your time in primary school. What were the highs and lows? Who were your best friends? What were your favourite moments? Then,
Look ahead, what are your most looking forward to at Secondary School? What are your worries? Finally, what is your ultimate goal…what is it that you want to be? Aim high – achieve high.
