Governors work as part of a team called the LOCAL GOVERNING BODY

Mount Street is an Academy within the Learning Academies Trust and you can find more information on the Trust on their Website.

They are responsible for making sure the school provides excellent quality education for all children.

The Governing Body is responsible to parents, the local community and the Trustees of the Learning Academies Trust.

The Local Governing Body work alongside the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team

  • Planning the future direction of the school

  • Ensuring that the National Curriculum, RE and PSHE is taught to the highest standards
