Governors work as part of a team called the LOCAL GOVERNING BODY
Mount Street is an Academy within the Learning Academies Trust and you can find more information on the Trust on their Website.
They are responsible for making sure the school provides excellent quality education for all children.
The Governing Body is responsible to parents, the local community and the Trustees of the Learning Academies Trust.
The Local Governing Body work alongside the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team
Planning the future direction of the school
Ensuring that the National Curriculum, RE and PSHE is taught to the highest standards
Making sure the school provides for all its children, including those with special needs
The Chair of Governors regularly meets with other Chairs of Local Governing Boards across the Learning Academies Trust and the CEO.
