Art

Throughout the school, the children enjoy taking part in a wide range of art activities using a variety of exciting resources. The art activities are linked to the class topic and can include whole class, paired and individual creative tasks. Whenever possible, we teach Art outside of the classroom both as part of our outdoor learning and including off site visits.

At Mount Street Primary School, we  develop the children's conceptual knowledge and understanding through 'Big Ideas' which develop both in depth and knowledge as the children progress through the school.
