Mental Health

At our school, we all understand that each and everyone of us has mental health, and just like our physical health, it needs looking after.  In school, we teach the children to look after their mental health and practice mindfulness each week in lessons.  As part of the local community, we hope to offer support to all our stakeholders and we hope that this page will be of some help in suggesting ideas to support wellbeing or to offer a signpost to other agencies should further advice of guidance be needed.

For the second year running, we took part in World Mental Health Day and along with thousands across the country we came together to say #HelloYellow.

Thank you to all our families who supported this event.  We hope to have shown our young people that how they feel matters, and that we are creating a future where all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.

Wellbeing

Mental health charity Mind has advised that being outdoors can improve your mood, reduce stress and help you feel more relaxed.

Why not try one of the following activities - of if the outdoors is not for you, then why not read a book, curled up with a hot chocolate or meet a friend for a catch up!
