Welcome to Mount Street Nursery, where our vision is to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment in which every child can thrive. Our curriculum is carefully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning, laying strong foundations for future success and lifelong learning.

We recognise that every child is unique and arrives with different experiences, interests, and starting points. Through a broad and ambitious curriculum, we provide opportunities for all children to achieve their full potential. Our skilled practitioners carefully balance child-initiated learning with purposeful adult-led experiences, using high-quality continuous provision and focused small-group activities to support children's development across all areas of learning.

At Mount Street Nursery, we are committed to developing the knowledge, skills, and personal qualities that children need to become confident, resilient, and independent learners. Through meaningful first-hand experiences, exploration, and play, children are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, take risks in their learning, and develop positive relationships with others.

Language and communication are at the heart of everything we do. We provide a rich language environment where high-quality interactions, storytelling, songs, and conversations support children's vocabulary development and oracy skills. We believe that strong communication skills are fundamental to children's learning, wellbeing, and future success.

We welcome children aged 2 to 4 years old and offer Me2 funding, 30 Hours Funding, and funded places for eligible 3 and 4-year-olds, serving families within our local community and beyond. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers and work closely with families to ensure the very best outcomes for every child.
