Me 2 and Nursery

Welcome to Mount Street Nursery where our intent is to offer the children in our care a stimulating and creative learning environment where they can build the foundations of becoming a lifelong learner.  The ability to learn is underpinned by the teaching of skills, knowledge and values that equip our children for their future successes. We recognise that the children at Mount Street are all unique and come to us with a variety of starting points in life therefore we provide opportunities for all children to make progress by offering a balance of child-initiated and adult-led learning opportunities using continuous provision and small group activities.  We endeavour to provide a range of first hand learning experiences, promote resilience and independence and develop a range of interpersonal skills allowing them to become critical and creative thinkers.  We provide a language rich environment with Oracy at the heart of everything that we do. 

We take children from 2 to 4 years old and accept Me2 funding, 30 hours funding and 3-4 year old places for children in our community and beyond.  We work closely with our families to build relationships to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care.
