Performing Arts

All children are given the opportunity to perform through various celebrations in the year. This could be through:

•          Performance poetry
•          Dance
•          Singing
•          Acting
•          Playing guitars/ recorders/percussion instruments

The school has many assemblies throughout the year, such as World Peace day, Harvest, Christmas Nativity and the Performing Arts show.

Children are also encouraged to take part in performances outside of school, within the local community, such as:

•          Singing at the Lord Mayor's Carol service and Lord Mayor's Choosing day
•          Singing with the LAT choir
•          Singing with the Sir Joshua Reynolds choir
•          Performing in the city centre as part of our clean up Greenbank Campaign
•          Singing and drumming at Drakes Reservoir opening
•          Singing at Greenbank local residents Christmas lunch
