Remembrance Service
Our poppies of Remembrance
Literacy Workshop Children's University, Plymouth.
Year 6 visited Children's University Plymouth to take part in a Literacy Workshop with Vice Chancellor and author David Lawrence Jones. They decided on 6 learning destinations in the Southwest, researched them, wrote 8 lines of prose for each destination and drew a picture to accompany the prose. They set themselves up with an editor, proof-reader, researchers, writers and illustrators and completed the task in the allotted time. It was a great experience for all of them and we look forward to receiving our PDF copy so that we can share it.
